Legshield Society Art Print Framed
Part of the DESHINO Design Studies series, C&C-004 explores the distinctive shapes, details and social culture surrounding classic scooters.
At its centre is the Legshield Society: a fictional two stroke social club inspired by weekend ride outs, coastal roads, café stops and the communities formed around machines with unmistakable character.
The composition brings together the resolved Legshield Society artwork with its original pencil development studies. Scooter profiles, headlamp forms, saddle construction, legshield contours, wheel details and checker patterns are arranged like material from a working design archive. Restrained orange marks connect the technical studies to the finished graphic.
The accompanying line, FROM SIDE STREETS TO SEA FRONTS, reflects the places these scooters belong: woven through towns, gathering outside cafés and following the coast whenever the weather allows.
Presented within the DESHINO Design Studies format, the print documents the journey from initial observation and exploratory drawing to the final Combustion & Chrome artwork.
